On January 20th, millions of eyes were on Washington for the swearing in of our 44th president Barack Obama. Not only watching TV but streaming online from CNN, Fox News, Hulu, and others.
I was more focused on CNN because they were utilizing Facebook Connect allowing you to watch and comment on Facebook and read others comments. It took about 10 minutes for me to get connect because of the high use. Below is the screen shot from the stream.
And at 12:00PM exactly the White House’s website got a facelift. I am super happy with the new look, being a website designer I am all into the whole “web 2.0″ look and feel. I really hope that this is the first of many of the government’s sites to get updated. Here is a before and shot of what whitehouse.gov looked like after the jump:
